Our visit to your garden

Our first visit to you is free of charge to talk through ideas and possibilties. Once we begin to understand the scope of the works involed, we will be able to advise you on the design costs and plans that you will need. All of this will be confirmed to you in writing. We always carry out a professional survey for the base plan layout and to show the existing levels in the garden. Then your new garden will be designed and drawn for you. You will be able to visualize your new garden and plans will include a 3D representation of the new project so that you can start to imagine how it will look.

Your design drawings and plans will be delivered to you with an idea of the cost involved to build your new garden. When you are completely happy with this budget and the designs a detailed quotation will be produced, breaking down each element of the works so that you can choose which parts you implement and when. We will also prioritize the work with you so you can understand the whole build process. Your new plans will show you all the new levels and how the garden will alter from it's existing state.

On our first visit we will take a detailed brief asking many questions!  Our second visit will be with a professional survey and for us to carry out a technical site analysis. At our next meeting, we'll present you with your new landscape and a budget for construction.  For larger projects, further visits and meetings may be necessary. The colour design drawings and 3D representations presented to you are yours to keep.

Planting

We are experts at planting in all types of soil and in gardens of many aspects. We're used to designing low maintenance gardens, but in truth, there's no such thing as a 'no maintenance' garden. If you feel terrified of plants and how they might grow then don't worry! We'll give you a list of the plants in your new garden with a maintenance schedule of how to look after them. We can also provide regular gardeners too if you'd like more hands-on help. You may even find that you like gardening after all. Once you know what you're doing, you may even fall in love with some of your plants!


Your Garden Design

The drawings and plans we provide

Your garden design will be drawn on the board, by hand, in the old fashioned way and also drawn and built on the computer where the construction is much more detailed. Your concept plan will show the creative designs for your garden. When you are happy with the whole concept, then further plans will be produced with setting out points, existing and finished levels and construction drawings for specific features.

We also produce all of these specialist plans for other garden designers who wish to produce the concept plans for their clients but would like the construction side of the concept handled by the contracting company.

As designers and contractors we are able to offer an entire service to you, or work with your own designers or contractors to plan or build your garden for you.

All of the plans produced are yours to keep, including the survey of your house and gardens which is carried out professionally to provide all the existing levels and materials used in your current garden.
