Our visit to your garden

We need to know how you're going to use your new garden, so we'll ask lots of questions.  Your new garden design is all about you, your house and the surrounding area. We'll talk through ideas, possibilites and solutions so that we can design a garden that you'll use all the time and love too. The starting point for your garden will be the design drawings and the budget for your landscape construction. We usually recommend a professional survey for the base plan layout and levels. Your garden design plans will enable you to visualize your new garden. An investment in survey plans and drawings will allow accurate fixed price quotations to be produced for all aspects of landscape construction rather than estimates which could increase. Your design plans will include any level changes and engineering solutions that may be necessary for the project.

On our first visit - which is free of charge and without obligation - we will quote to produce your garden design plans. This visit will involve taking your brief and completing a technical site survey. Our second visit will be with our surveying equipment and to carry out a technical site analysis. At our next meeting, we'll present you with your new landscape and a budget for construction.  For larger projects, further visits and meetings may be necessary. The colour design drawings and 3D representations presented to you are yours to keep.

Planting

We have years of experience designing planted landscapes to ensure that your garden is planted with the right plants for your aspect and soil conditions. We create stunning borders to suit your maintenance requirements. We have extensive knowledge of mature trees and shrubs and the expertise to bring these onto site.

We produce planting plans and schedules and you are welcome to come with us to our wholesale nurseries to select specimen trees and shrubs. Be as involved as you wish. It's your garden! We'll provide you with details of how to look after the plants we've used, or we can provide our own gardeners to keep the garden looking wonderful all year round.
