The huge kitchen doors lead to a wide, entertaining deck for outdoor furniture from marks and sparks. Completely waterproof too! The deck was planted and enclosed with a mature olive tree, to add to the feeling of enclosure. A smaller dining terrace, in Italian travertine, was set at the end for a round table and chairs. Large lanterns light the outdoor space at night and the deck is much safer for the children now.
