Your Garden Design
The point of garden design is to marry your own ideas and hopes for the garden with the practicalities and understanding of what’s possible within the budget you’ve put to one side.
At our first meeting you’ll be asked lots of questions. Once we start to look at pictures, influences and design solutions we’ll be able to help you realise the possibilities. When we begin to understand the scope of work involved we will be able to advise you on design costs and plans that you will need. All of this will be confirmed to you in writing.
At the next stage a professional land survey will be taken of your garden. Whatever size of garden you have, this will be carried out to establish the existing levels, materials and accurately pinpoint your doors, window and all existing trees and features in the garden with the boundaries clearly marked.
Then your new garden will be designed and drawn for you. You will be able to visualise your new garden and plans will include a 3D representation of the new project so you can start to imagine how it will look.
Your presentation plan will be delivered to you with with a budget cost to build your new garden. When you are completely happy with your new garden designs and budget a detailed quotation will be produced, breaking down each element of the work. Your new plans will show you all the new levels and how the garden will alter from its existing state.
For larger projects, further meetings may be necessary. The design drawings and 3D representations presented to you are yours to keep. We will bring you samples of the materials that have been specified on the drawing and show you examples of all the features we wish to include. You are also welcome to visit our other gardens and meet our other clients.
PLANTING
We are experts at planting in all types of soil and in gardens of many aspects. We’re used to designing low maintenance gardens, but in truth, there is no such thing as a ‘no maintenance’ garden. If you feel terrified of plants and how they might grow then don’t worry. We’ll give you a list of plants in your new garden with a maintenance schedule of how to look after them. We can also provide regular gardeners too if you’d like more hands-on help.
You may find you like gardening after all. Once you know what you’re doing, you may even fall in love with some of your plants. Our planting plans include a plant schedule and you are welcome to visit the wholesale nursery with us to help choose your plants.
